Driving the Toyota Camry through the streets of Brooklyn, New York, you can’t miss the visual kaleidoscope of colors, imagery and paint that cover much of the borough. This is the epicenter and birthplace of global street art. One of the more recognizable “canvases” on these streets belongs to Werc, a Mexican-born artist living in New York. His large-scale murals offer a sensation of colors that blend of pre-Columbian natural imagery and contemporary street style. Werc’s art isn’t just eye-popping—it has the power to transform the way we perceive our everyday surroundings.
This Great Big Story is a paid contribution by Toyota.
