Meet the Man Who Helped ‘Sabrina’s’ Salem Find His Snark

If you’ve watched Netflix’s revival of “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” you may have noticed a cat-sized absence. Salem—everyone’s favorite talking cat in the original “Sabrina the Teenage Witch”—notably doesn’t speak in the latest series. We set out to find the man behind the anthropomorphized feline, a certain Nick Bakay. But Bakay’s snarky vocal stylings that brought Salem to life aren’t his only credit. The multitalented human has written, produced and acted in hits like “Paul Blart Mall Cop,” “King of Queens” and “Seinfeld.”
