In Iran, A Village Among Volcanic Rocks

At first glance, the village of Kandovan in Iran looks like simply a surreal rock formation. But as you get closer, you see doors and windows and people. The village is full of cave-like dwellings carved out of volcanic rocks in the foothills of Mount Sahand.
